After “Big Data”, Artificial Intelligence is the latest technology hype. While the topic slowly gains attention in mass media, also journalists make more and more use of AI. The list of examples, where a so-called artificial intelligence was employed, grows longer and longer: With an “intelligently” programmed algorithm, tedious parts of conventional  data research (e.g. data preprocessing) can be automated. Or stunning advances in the field, like facial recognition, can be demonstrated and explained to the readership.

In this panel, journalists and experts will tell where they have already used AI, where they faced challenges and where the journey might go – on the long run.
