Is this really Syria in 2018? Or Ukraine in 2013? Or Germany in 2003? Participants will be introduced to the method of geolocation: determining the exact location where a photo or video was taken. Mapping and satellite services are important tools for this verification method that is extensively used by the investigative collective Bellingcat.
